PP, or polypropylene, is the third most common plastic by sales volume
Due to PP’s non-polarity properties, it is very robust and not very flexible. It has an extremely high heat distortion temperature, and can be safely heated to 120 °C without deforming. Non-toxic, odourless, extremely light and completely free of Bisphenol A (BPA-free), PP is most commonly used in household items, equipment, packaging and bottles of various types. As well as this inexhaustible range of applications as a "substitute", a whole branch of research has developed around PP. This research harnesses PP’s extraordinary potential and produces unprecedented line objects with unique transparency and versatility.
